What happens at a placement visit

Every swimmer starts the same way, whatever their age.

Step 1: Arrive and sign in
Check in at the front desk, rinse at the showers and meet your instructor on the deck.

Step 2: A short time in the water
The instructor and your swimmer spend a few minutes in the pool, with a grown-up close by.

Step 3: A level and a cap color
The instructor suggests a level and a cap color, and tells you what the first classes will cover.

Step 4: Pick a class
You choose a day and a pool from the schedule, and the front desk holds the place.

What to bring

A swimsuit, a towel and goggles if you like

Swimmers wear a swimsuit or swim trunks, and babies wear a swim diaper. Bring a towel and a bag for wet things.

Goggles are your choice. If you don't have a pair, the front desk can help you find one that fits.
