Photos of your child
We ask your written permission before we share any photo of your child, on this site, in newsletters or on social media, and you can change your answer at any time. We never put a child's name with a photo, and the photos on this site are examples until we replace them with our own.
In the pool, and watching
An instructor is in the water or on the step beside every swimmer. Parents watch from the bench along the pool wall or from the lounge, and stay at the pool for the whole class.
What to wear and bring
Swimmers wear a swimsuit or swim trunks, and babies wear a swim diaper. Bring a towel, a bag for wet things and goggles if you like. Long hair is tied back or tucked under a cap.
When to keep your child home
Keep your swimmer home with a fever, a stomach illness or an open sore, and for a day after they are better. Tell the front desk and we will help you make up the class.
Drop-off and pickup
A grown-up brings each swimmer to the deck and collects them at the end of class. We ask for ID from anyone we don't know.
Closures for weather and holidays
We close for holidays and for weather that makes the roads or the pool unsafe to use. We text families the same day and post it at the front desk.
Leaving the program
Please tell the front desk before the term ends if your swimmer is leaving, in person, by phone or by email, so we can offer the place to the next family.
